Mr. Fisher, Federal Premier, has announced that, as the result of discussion, he has arrived at an arrangement with Mr. Fisher, of New Zealand, for a reciprocal scheme of old age pensions to be tried for a period of'five years, as outlined yesterday. In order to prevent either country becoming charged with an undue proportion of the other's lia-. hilities the calculations will be made on a population basis. Legislation will be required to give effect to the scheme.
