PROPOSED POLITICAL VISIT. P-y Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, April DO. At the annual meeting of the Empire Parliamentary Association Mr. Lowtlier, the Speaker, presided. Mr. Bonar Law and Lord Emniolt paid tributes to the excellent work of fostering closer relations with overseas statesmen. Mr. Lowtber moved that the exec-iit'ive endeavor to arrange for twenty membe.'s of Parliament to accept the invitation to visit Australia this year. Mr. Balfour, in seconding the motion, said the invitation was conclusive proof of the value of the association. They should, by means of a delegation, make themselves acquainted with the feelings and aspirations of those carrying out Empire work overseas, and also carry to them in concrete form our goodwill and sympathy. The motion was carried.
