MAWSON'S EXPEDITION.
PROFESSOR DAVID'S SURMISE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, April 30. Dr. Mawson for several days has been trying to send a wireless message to Australia, but, owing to some unknown cause, the messages are undecipherable. Professor David presumes that a blizzard has caused an accident to the wireless mast, but believes the party is safe for the rest of the winter, hut the refitting of the Aurora is being pushed on as speedily as possible, so that she may leave as early as it is thought practicable to get through the ice.
