THE HOSPITAL ELECTIONS. For the three vacancies on the Hospital Board the burgesses of the Borough of New Plymouth will be asked to fill, there are six candidates, three of them former members of the Board, viz., Messrs. F. C. J. Bellringcr, G. W.Brovvne and Wm. Cutfield, and the other three are Mrs. Dockrill, Messrs. E. R. Gilmour and A. E. Watkins. Of good material to select from there is no lack, and voters will experience no little dilliculty in arriving at a decision. For our part, we hope the retiring chairman (Mr. Bellringcr) will be returned at the top of the poll, as a mark of appreciation of the invaluable services he has rendered the hospital and the borough generally. We believe there is no better administered Hospital Board in the Dominion than ours, and certainly no better managed hospital. For this very satisfactory result the chairman is in no small measure responsible. The chairman has, at all times, displayed enthusiasm in his work, and no doubt this quality lias contributed to his success as chairman, and to the success of the Board and the hospital.
