[. ■ Wellington, Last Night. : ,-The following weather summary and forecast was issued fay the Dominion Meteorologist at 5 p.m.: Summary: Two low-pressure areas, one in the north and another.in the south, have to a certain extent neutralised each Other, but considerable rain has fallen in the north and on the east coast of the North Island. The centre of this <§sturbance is now passing off the East sape. Forecast: Present indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds, veering to southerly. Cool, changeable and showery weather is probable generally. The barometer is unsteady, but Tfill probably rise everywhere after about sixteen hours.
