It is announced that Dick Arnst has definitely retired, and has purchased a launch, " and intends to adopt professional fishing at Broughton Island, ■ lit Stephens.

Arnst denies the report of his retirement. He says that the mistake is probably the result oi a jocular remark made to a friend. He declares that he is not "half a back numbn- yet." His future movements will be guided to a great extent by the result of the Peace-Barry contest.
