A BOMB EXPLOSION. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 25, 10 p.m. London, April 24. The suffragettes exploded a bomb in the County Hall at Newcastle. Very little damage was done.
MRS. DESPARD FINED. London, April 24. Mrs. Despard was fined £5 or a fortnight's imprisonment for conducting a meeting in Trafalgar Square. Her three companions were fined minor sums.
