VISIT TO NEW ZEALAND. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright, Melbourne, April, 25. At a meeting of the Federal Committee which is arranging details of the visit of the British Association for the Advancement of Science, it was stated that New Zealand had granted. £2OOO for the passages of 25 representatives, with the view of enabling them to extend their tour to New Zealand. A resolution was passed that the British Association be invited to nominate 25 members to go, after the Sydney meeting, on the understanding that New Zealand would pay £3O towards the expenses of each, and that members should fulfil scientific duties in New Zealand.
