THE WOOL MARKET . Received 25, 10.45 p.m. London, April 24. Wool,— The following are the' price* realised for fleece portions of the dipt named:—Alpha top 14d, average 12% d; Hayes 10% d and Poritu, lid and 10%; Rukumoana, 15d and 14% d. THE LONDON MARKETS. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following cable advices from its London office:—"The sales hays opened with strong competition and largo attendance of buyers. Total quantity of New Zealand wool available, 100,000 bales. Compared with the close of last scries prices for practically all descriptions are unchanged." Following is the High Commissioner's wool cable under date London, April 22s —The wool sales have commenced, with the market firm but not advanced. Buyers are cautious.
