THE WOOL MARKET . Received 25, 10.45 p.m. London, April 24. Wool,— The following are the' price* realised for fleece portions of the dipt named:—Alpha top 14d, average 12% d; Hayes 10% d and Poritu, lid and 10%; Rukumoana, 15d and 14% d. THE LONDON MARKETS. London, April 23. Wool.—At the sales competition. for all sorts at opening rates wag fully maintained. Tallow.—At the sales, 1471 casks of tallow were offered, and 056 were sold. Mutton.--Fine 39s od, medium 34* 6d. Beef.—Fine 38s, medium 345. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following cable advices from its London office:—"The sales hays opened with strong competition and largo attendance of buyers. Total quantity of New Zealand wool available, 100,000 bales. Compared with the close of last scries prices for practically all descriptions are unchanged."
