SCHOOL CHILDREN'S STRIKE

Thousands of school children have struck because the jury acquitted an unpopular teacher against whom charges were preferred. The police reserves were called out to preserve order in consequence of the children's parade interfering with the traffic. One lad was run over by a street car and killed.- A number of children were arrested for disorderly conduct.
