THE BANNER FINAL.
The semi-finals fo'r the banner championship for the southern end of the province took place yesterday at Hawera J between Patea and Pihama, the latter receiving the verdict by five points. The final will Ije played at Hawera this afternoon between Pihama and New Plymouth (winners of the northern end). The New Plymouth team will consist |of the follownig:—Fraser, Burgess, Luscombe, A. K. Smart, H. Smart, S. Rundle, Jenkinson, Morey, C. Rundle, Medley, Paul, Penn. In the morning a friendly match will be played with Hawera. ,
