SHAKESPEARE'S ANNIVERSARY.
CELEBRATED IN SYDNEY,
Received 23, 11.25 p.m. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, April 23. The Shakespeare anniversary was celebrated in the schools, leading actors and teachers giving short addresses explanatory of liis life and works. At a number of entertainments and picture show displays the proceeds will be devoted to the proposed Shakespeare memorial.
