Greymouth, Last Night. Two brothers named Roberta and James Steele, were fined £3 each onii>» evidence of Constable Catwell at th» Magistrate s Court on Monday for ukine obscene language at Otira. The occurred the same afternoon. A stable was going to Grey mouth station r when t!j,e brothers accosted him, knfccknig him down and brutally •him. At the Court to-day Jioth freiS sentenced to one month's imprisonment with hard labor. Another brother. Earned Hugh, was fined £5 for inciting Jiis brothers to resist, and for obstructing the police at the same oe« currence.
