NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. The New Plymouth Golf Club opened its season oil .Saturday willi a Mixed Foursome l'ogev Match. There was a !ii«l attendance, and besides'spectators, over 70 players were on the links, lielow are appended the five best cards, and considering the still' bogey and the southerly wind, Mr. and Mrs. Pa ton's card of (i down was a very creditable performance: —Mr and "Mrs. Pat on, .0 down; Mr. and Mrs. J'irch-Johnston 7 down; Mr and Miss Sinclair. S down; Mrs Arnold Jones and Ooxhcad, !) down; MWs TSlundell and liayley. !> down. In addition to the above 7 tied for oth place.
