ARANA'S EVIDENCE. Received 11. 8.50 p.m. London, April li. Arana gave evidence that neither he nor the English directors wore aware of the outrages before the article was published. Even then they did not credit them, because they were suspicious of the origin. He now believed that murders bad been committed daily.
