"THE BLUE BIRD." Q'.iiie tho event of the theatrical year will be the production here on Wednesday night next by Mr. .T. C. Williamson's Company of Matorlinck's (banning fairy pantomime. *"riu> l!lue l'ird," which has delighted audiences in almost every part of the universe, and it is satisfactory to note that New Zealanders are responding to the magnetism of the Belgian poet's world-famed allegory. Altogether theie are over 100 travelling members in J. C. Williamson's "Blue Bird" organisation. and they will be augmented ioeally, | as it necessitates the employment of no |«wer than 150 people to present "The [B iie Lird" on the scale of completeness which was a feature of its memorable Sydney production. The box plans will bo opened at Collier's on Monday morning next at eight o'clock. Children will j I be admitted to all purts at half-price.
