Whangarei, Last Night At Hikurangi this morning a man named Olsen, a stranger to the district, committed suicide by drinking lysol. AN IXVERCARGILL LOAN . Invercargill, Last Night The Mayor {Mr. W. B. Scandrett) has received a cabled communication to the effect that the Council's terms in connection with the £90,000 loan have been agreed to. The non-borrowing period ia /reduced to tJwelve months And fchft whole of the money will be available in London on June 1.
