AVIXDrNG UP A COMPANY. Received 10, 12.10 a.m. London, April 9. The liquidator of the Australasian Mortgage and Agency Company reports that the whole of the assets have been realised. Re was unable to close the, liquidation, ponding-'an appeal against the Australian land-tax assessment. He proposes meanwhile to pay 50 per cent, to preference stock holders, leaving £5353 undisbursed. FEDERAL PARLIAMENT ELECTIONS. Received 10, 12.10 a.m. Melbourne, April 9. | The dissolution of the Federal Parlia- ' ment has been fixed for the 23rd inst., and the elections for May 31.
