: r : , - " BUMMARY AND FORECAST. "By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Summary.—Stormy weather has continued between East Cape and Cape Campbell, but has moderated to-day. Fair to cloudy weather has ruled elsewhere, with frosts inland at night. The barometer is now very high everywhere, but shows a falling tendency this after- . noon. Forecast.—Present indications are for moderate to strong easterly winds prevailing in and northward of Cook Strait, and northerlies elsewhere soon. Fair to cloudy weather is probable generally, misty at times on the coasts, especially in the northern and southern districts. The barometer has a falling tendency everywhere.
