EMPIRE PICTURE PALACE. Following 011 the huge success of the pantomime ■•Cinderella," the Empire management are to-night introducing a wonderful dramatic spectacle, entitled •'Father." The Itala Coy,, who produced -The Fall of Troy," are the makers of this magnificent picture, and as in that famous picture, no expense has been spared to make "h'ather" the greatest dramatic picture of the year. It includes a lire scene that is as amazing as it is realistic, and never before in motion picture history has any maker attempted such a wonderful and awe-in-spiring scene as the burning mansion in this unique feature drama. "Father" can only be retained at the Empire for three nights and can rest assurrcd of erowded houses 011 each occasion. THEATRE ROYAL PICTURES .
In view of the possible visit to New Ply month of the battleship Xew Zealand, th<> picture shown fit tin; Theatre Royal last night of the Kind's visit to the Dreadnought, at Portsmouth possess particular interest to local residents.
