NEW PLYMOUTH SOCIAL NEWS All Nations Fiiir.—After a very successful season of three, days, the All Nations Fair was brought to a close on Thursday night, the total takings being £314. Each evening crowded houses greeted the performers in the farces "Between the Soup and the Savoury" and ''The Changeling," and these actors are to be heartily congratulated, their services adding greatly to the success of the bazaar. PERSONAL ITEMS. Mr. and -Mrs. Blundell have returned from their holiday trip down south. Mrs. Colson. who has been on a visit to Auckland, has returned to New Plymouth. Mrs. McAllum, of Feilding, is the guest of Mrs. Blundell. Miss Doris Roy, who spent her Easter holidays in Wellington, has returned. Mrs. R. A. Gray, of New Plymouth, is the guest of Mrs. Gray, senr., Palmcraton South. Miss D. Bedford left this morning for Hawe'ra, where she will be the guest of Mrs.'Glenn for a week. Thence she intends journeying to Wellington. Rev. J. Brocklehnrst is .visiting Mrs. Baker, Bultsel street, and before returning to Hastings, will be the? guest of Mrs. ,T. Paton for a few days. ' Mr. and Mrs. F. McGuire gave a garden party at Mount Royal (Okaiawal on Wednesday. A large number of friends from town and country were present to partake of their hospitality and .to wish their host and hostess and family happiness in their new home at Auckland, where shortly they will take up residence. —Star. ~, ~.;'.',.
