THE MOKAU LAND.

TO BE PUT ON THE MARKET. Elsewhere the sale of a part of the Mokau-Mohakalino block is advertised to take place at Palmerston North on Wednesday, .May 7. The block contains about 25,000 acres of magnificent pus toral country, capable, according to authorities, of carrying from two to two and a half sheep to the acre. The soil is generally first-class in quality, being chocolate loam. This particular country js free from gorges, lies well to the sun, and there is good permanent water on all sections.

The scenery, surroundings and general beauty of the Mohan river ami district surpass that of the upper roaches of the far-famed Waganui river, and it is expected that the Government will make it one of the tourist routes of the Dominion.

Guides are now located at Mokau to show intending purchasers over the block, and the necessary ramps are provided at various points, and arrangements made for meals, camping, etc. The block is cut up into covenient farms, from 1001 to 2!)7o acres.

Full particulars may be obtained from Xewton Kins. .T. Mc('lu.!™'agc. K. Griffiths and Co., and It. l'\ Cornwall.
