Denton was charged with causing an obstruction at the Clock Tower on March 14lli. and the police asked for sureties of the peace. He was bound over to keep the peace for three months in one surety of £2O, and fined £4 for causing an obstruction and for having delivered an address at the Clock Tower, inducing a crowd to collect, and thus cause an obstruction. Cnthbert Leo. Bcarv Mas lined £.5, and Edward J .Howard, Paddy Chas. Webb. Fred Burgoyne, W. E. J. Maguire, Fred B. Cooke and .Tas. MeCullogh were each fined £2. The charge u'jainst Rcarv of being an idle and disorderly person and of gathering alms was dismissed.
