Wellington, Last Nighty The following weather summary and forecast was issued by the Dominion Meteorologist at 5 p.m.: Summary: Strong west to south-westerly 'winds have .predominated, with changeable Weather, heavy showers being; experienced on the west coast and southern districts. The barometer has been very unsteady. Forecast: Present indications are for strong southerly winds gener- >; ally, with weather colder, changeable and showery; squally about Cook and Foveaux Straits. The \ barometer will 1 probably rise everywhere soon, and a brief spell of fair weather will follow shortly. '.
