The Tarahua Club were the recipients during the week of a handsome present from the visitors who used their links during the Easter holidays as a token of appreciation of the hospitality accorded them. A writer in the "Standard" gives the following advice to women golfers: Do not wear too narrow skirts. Do not wear too full skirts. Do not wear thin boots in winter. Do not let the local cobbler nail your golf shoes. Do not wear a large hat. Do not wear silk or woollen jerseys in wet weather. Do not wear thin stockings. Do not wear braces Do not wear tight blouses. If these rules are kept, your golf will improve, even if only, a few strokes, and in golf a few strokes are of great value.
