ACID STOMACHS ARE DANGEROUS. COMMON' SENSE ADVICE BY A DISTINGUISHED SPECIALIST. "Acid" stomachs are dangerous because acid irritates and inflames the delicate lining of the stomach,' thus hindering and preventing the proper action of the stomach, and leading to ninetentlis of the cases of stomach trouble from which people suffer. Medicines and medical treatments are useless in such yases. for. they leave the source of trouble, the, acid in the stomach, as dan; gerous as ever. The acid'must be neutralised, 'ami its formation prevented, and the best thing for this purpose is half a tcaspoonful of bisurated magnesia, a simple antacid, taken in a little warm or cold water after eating, which not only neutralises the acid, but also prevents the 'fermentation from which acidity is developed. Foods which ordinarilv cause greatest distress can be eaten with impunitv if the meal is, followed with a little bisurated magnesia, which can be obtained of ant chemist, and should always be kept handy. CREME TOKALON, absolutely the non-greasy vanishing cream; beautifies the skin and removes wrinkles. At all chemists.—(Advt.)

JUST FOLLOWS THE mttF.CTTOXS. "My son gets so had with croup he cannot got his breath." writes Mrs. N. V. Lewis, Mill End, Adelaide. S.A. ,"I just follow the directions with Chamberlain's Cough Remedy and he is soon completely cured. I never go to bed without a bottle of Chamberlain's Cough Remedy in the house for I don't know when Sydney will be attacked with croup."—All chemists and storekeepers.
