SHEARERS' CONFERENCE. By Telegraph —Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Shearers' Conference considered the question of learners and their employment generally. It was agreed that j the association did not wish to put any !' obstacle in the way of learners, but that the matter was not one which it could deal with. A motion that remits concerning learners be struck out was carried, Messrs. Kerr and Townsend alone dissenting.
