The. claim of IToskins, Limited, versus the Government for £150,000 damages in respect of the iron and steel rail contract, has been settled on the following terms: —The plaintitls admit that circumstances appeared to justify tlie Minister for Works cancelling the contract; kit they shall not be debarred, in future, from receiving the Department's contracts. The deposit of £SOOO will be refunded. Each party pays his own costs.
