SHEARERS' CONFERENCE.
CONDITIONS OF LAIIOR. SUGGESTED RENEWAL OF AWARD. By Telegraph —Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Tlic Shearers' Conference has received a telegram from the Sheepowners' Federation, expressing readiness to meet the .shearers' executive iu conference, hilt pointing out that the Federation executive hits been recommended by the Canterbury Shearers' Uuiou to renew t ho present award for a further period of three years, and if the shearers' executive agrees to this, a conference would be unnecessary.
