FROZEN MEAT FRAUDS.
PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS. -AIR. MACKENZIE TAKES ACTION. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright. Received 30, 5.5 p.m. London, March 29. Mr. Thos. Mackenzie, High Commissioner for New Zealand, has learnt that of 77 public institutions advertising for meat, 28 accept English only. Most of the others specify New Zealand, some including Australian and Argentine. It is alleged that some lower grades are substituted for New Zealand. Mr. Mackenzie is submitting proposals to the Government with a view to preventing this.
