The boom of cannon was audible in "the city. Hundreds of wounded are arriving daily.
The Turkish loss at Chataldj a was 1200 mid -3500 wounded. Enver Bev's force was trapped over a mined area, and the explosion of the mine caused heavy loss.
Sixty thousand Bulgarians suddenly attackefl and drove the Turkish right wing back, and almost turned the centre.

The Foreign Minister states that Europe, bv a most crying injustice, is attempting to rob Montenegro of Scutari Montenegro cannot accept the decision. and appeals to the British sense ■of justice. The Government has received the Powers' collective note. London, March 29.
Tie Telegraph's Vienna correspondent •tates that Austria's patience is exhausted, and she will take swift steps to execute the will of Europe if Montenegro ■does not accept the Powers' decision.

The newspapers report that King Nicholas lias ordered a renewal of the tonibardment of Scutari. A fierce attach is proceeding on all sides.

The fall of Adrianople was directly due to the terrible fire of the Servian •iege guns. As the besiegers closed in on the town, deserters came out in great numbers, reporting that the garciaon was exhausted, and only Shukri Pasha's will induced them to continue fighting. The Servian artillery concentrated their fire upor. the eastern forts. Thefe were desperate conflicts throughout Tuesday and Wednesday nights, when the eastern forts were captured. The Turks fired the town at various points, and great flames shot up •nd loud detonations were heard as the arsenals became ignited. Adrianople, March 28. ■ King Ferdinand, accompanied by his two sons and Generals SavolT, IvanolF and Petroff, entered Adrianople through the lines. The prisoners of war nud the inhabitants gave them an enthusiastic greeting. " SPOILS TO THE VICTORS." £7,000.000 TO DIVIDE. BULGARIANS AND SERVIANS SHARE EQUALLY. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright. Received 30, 5.5 p.m. Adrianople, March 29. The value of war material captured is £7,000,000. This will be equally divided between the Servians and Bulgarians. Sofia. March 29. Thte populace of Adrianople did not suffer much, and only a few buildings were damaged bv the bombardment. There were no epidemics. Many of the Turks destroyed their rifles and disabled their guns oefore surrendering. The electric light and wireless stations were al-o destroved.

General Ivan oil's despatch states that the I>ulgarians captured the eastern forts, whereupon Cliukri Pasha surrendered. The operations of the Bulgarian and Servian troops in the other positions around Adrianople were merely of a demonstrative character. The force--were still far from the circle forts when the east front fell. Belgrade. March 20. M. Ouescho.T has warmly acknowledged Servia's a«istance in connection with the fall of Adrianople. Eeuter says that the Powers, with a view to meeting Montenegro's complaint ns to lier small territorial acquisition at Scutari, propose to send a commission and render financial assistance to transform Lake Scutari into cultivable land, which Montenegro greatly needs. Cettinje. March 28. Montenegro points out that Turkey, in 1011. granted a concession to drain Lake Scutari to compensate Montenegro for losses owing to the Albanian rising, and the contract was entrusted to a French company.
