LABOR TROUBLES.
NEW SOUTH WALES COAL STRIKE. GAS STRIKE AVERTED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 28. 1 a.m. Sydney, March 27. The threatened renewal of the gasmen's trouble has been averted.
The position of the southern coal strike is unchanged. Vessels unable to obtain loading are proceeding to Newcastle for coal. The Labor Council is issuing an appeal to affiliated unions for financial assistance for the dependents of the strikers.
