GOOD TEMPLARY.

BIENNIAL SESSION. The biennial session of the Grand Lodge, International Order of Good Templars, was opened in the Good Templar Hall yesterday morning. A large number of delegates and visitors were present from all parts of the Dominion. Bro. G. Andrews, G.C.T., presided, and opened the proceedings with the usual ceremonies. Before proceeding with the business of the conference a motion was carried condoling with the relatives of the late Bro. J. C. Legg, Grand Guard, in the irreparable loss they have sustained. • The Grand Lodge degree was conferred upon a large number of members of the Order. The G.C.T. read his report, which was dealt with, various clauses being referred to committees. The standing officers present were: G.C.T. Bro. Andrews; P.G.C.T. Bro. Cameron; G. Coun.. Bro. Thomson; G.V.T. Sis. Thorn; G.S.J.W. Sis. Cameron; G.E.S. Bro. Townsend; D.I.S.C.T. Bro. Johnston; G.T. Bro. Rigarlsford; CI.M. Bro. Clark; G.D.M. Sis. Flanagan; G.S. Bro. Petherick; G.A.S. Bro. Millan. Officers appointed for the session consist of G. Chap. Bro. Dalton; G. Guard, Bro. Heydon; G. Sen., Bro. Kemsley; G. Mess:'. Bro. Arnold.
