AUSTRIAN ULTIMATUM. Cettinje, March 24. Montenegro has informed the Allies of the Austrian ultimatum. SETTLING THE ALBANIAN BOUNDARIES. Received 25, 11 p.m. London, March 24. The Powers have agreed to the northern and north-eastern boundaries of Albania. The southern limits are unsettled. REDUCING ADRIANOI'LE. BOMBARDMENT,FROM ALL SIDES. Received 25, 11 p.m. Soiia, March 25. Adrianople was bombarded from all sides yesterday. A decisive effort is being made to reduce the city immediately. Cettinje, March 25. Djavid Pasha and fifteen thousand Turks surrounded the Servians at Sknml river. MONTENEGRO'S PARLOUS POSITION. A GLQOMY ACCOUNT. Received 25, 10 p.m. Vienna, March 25. Messages from Cettinje depict the situation of Montenegro and the dynasty as gloomy. Feeling is embittered owing to the tremendous resultless sacrifice of the population. The King is reproached for irrationally maintaining the war, while the land is impoverished and fields uncultivated. Fifteen thousand men have' been lost through death from wounds. TIIE REPORTED MASSACRES . GREATLY EXAGGERATED. Received 25. 10.30 p.m. London, March 25. The Times' Constantinople correspondent states that care,fill enquirv reveals that the massacres of Moslems in Macedonia durina the war were greatly exaggerated. Many were shot after a drumhead eourtmartial. The Christian noncombatants in Central Macedonia suffered more than the Moslems. INDEPENDENT ALBANIA IMPOSSIBLE. Received 25. 11 p.m. Athens. March 25. Essad Pasha, interviewed, said an independent Albania was impossible. Uncivilised people like the Albanians were unable to exi*t, surrounded as they were by nations advanced in civilisation and military arts.
