The second day's racing was held today. The amount put through the machine was £9566, making a grand total of £20,890 for the meeting, being £320 more than last year. Sir Knox, the winner of the Autumn Handicap, was disqualified for crossing, and the stakes were awarded to Brown Trout. Watson, the rider of Sir Knox, was disqualified for three months on a charge of inconsistent riding, having ridden the Sir Laddo horse on the first day last all the way in the Easter Handicap.
