The lire is attributed to the suffragettes. Received 21, 7.30 p.m. London, J [arch 20. It is believed that the perpet r itors of the outrage entered Field .Marshal White's empty mansion with skeleton keys, and saturated the basement with petrol. The outbreak was discovered at ten in the morning. 'Messages inscribed "\ otes tor Women.'' and "Stop torturing our comrades in prison." were found. Two suspected women were seen cycling in the neighborhood after the outbreak of the fire. The damage is estimated at £4OOO. A DELIBERATE OUTRAGE. Received 22. 1.5 a.m. London. March 21 The women sprinkled spirits on the main stairway, from the garret to the ground floor, and fixed the. windows open to create a drauaht. The whole building was aflame simultaneously, and burned for seven hours. Ladv White was absent in the Riviera. Tioth she and her husband were quite unconnected with the suffrage movement. The golfhouse at Western-Supermarc has been destroyed by fire, ft is believed to be the work of suffragettes. IXCITTXO TO VIOLENCE. London. March 21.
