DRAUGHTS.
Already fourteen entries have heen received for the North Island draughts championship and handicap to he played in New Plymouth during the Easter holidays, and there is promise of four or live late entries. The arrangements for the tournament are all completed. As rulvortiaed. a meeting will he held on Thursday evening of all competitors and subscribers. The Mayor will occupy, the chair as president of the association. Everything points to a very successful gathering.
