The Daily News says that the correspondence removes the suspicion that .Mr. Churchill thru 4 li.is opinion upon the Canadian Government. but expresses the unwisdom of building battleships. The Daily News disagrees with Mr. Churchill's statement that there would be a difficulty in the Admiralty assisting Canada in manning her own fleet. Hie Chronicle blames Mr. Churchill for gratuitously entering the between Mr. Borden and Sir Wilfrid Laurier. The alleged impracticability is almost entirely a matter of money, and Canada is unlikely to acquiesce. Sim has already accomplished remarkable engineering feats. The Chronicle hopes that Mr. Churchill's sound instincts, appreciative of self-governing rights, will enable liini to repair the mischief of present indiscretions. It justifies Mr. Churchill.
