At a hearing, which was unfinished, before ;titp Food Commission, a wellknown produce merchant alleged that lie had difficulty in obtaining bran, and attributed this to the existence of the Millers' Association. He instanced that he had imported bran, and that the price was immediately dropped upon him, and he had to sell "at a loss of nearly £4OOO.
