INQUIRY TO BE HELD.

Wellington, Monday.-, At Hamilton last week a letter 'wrif. ten by a man. named Harp, of Franlctolt Junction was published in the Waikatb Times alleging that the boys aboard the - Amokura were mercilessly' flogged, until the blood came, for trivial offences. , Word has been received from Mr. F. M. B. Fisher, Minister ai Marine, that an inquiry opens in Wellington to-day in connection with the matter. ,
