The name of the man concerned in ,the Fitzroy tragedy was Walter Edgar Erfurth. aged 25 years, who was employed in a jam factory. The woman was Ada Dolman, aged 23 years. Jt is uncertain whether the couple were married. A lodger in the house states that Erfurth was under the influence of drink when he came home. Erfurth shot the woman and himself, but the baby survived.
