THE TERRA NOVA.
FAREWELL TO NEW ZEALAND,
By Telegraph.—Per Press Association, Christehurch, Last Night. The Terra Nova left Lyttelton at daybreak this morning on her return journey to England. She was accompanied down the harbor by the Harbor Board's tug. When the Terra Nova 16ft the wharf, the officers and crew gave three rousing cheers for Dimitrie, who is remaining in New Zealand, having entereJ the service of Mr. ,T. J. Kinsey. The ship once outside the Heads, went round to Sumner, where, as a fitting finale to the visit of the expedition to Now Zealand, the ship's Hag was dipped in farewell to Ifi'. Kinsey, who replied by dipping the flag at his residence Captain Scott, who with Mrs. Scott and many members of the expedition, spent many happy days there, whilst final preparations were being made for the departure of the expedition.
