SUICIDE AT WELLINGTON. By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Wellington, Wednesday. Walter Gen. Mcflluckin, a single man, aged 27. committed suicide by hanging himself in a stable at Omakau. He had been in ill-health and had been in a. very depressed state of mind since the death of his'sister a few weeks ago. FOUND DROWNED. Palmerston North. Ln»-t Palmerston North, Last Night. The. hodv of a mail about ."ift. lOin. was found floating in the T'iver below Palmerston to-dav bv a trout fisher. It had apparently been in the water a vevv Ion;; tim°, and (he features were quite unrecognisable. No one has been missed from the district.
