Sheep.—Canterbury light, 4%d; medium, -t'/ad; heavy, 4%d; North Island, 4y 8 d; best brands, New Zealand ewes, 3 U-10d.; Australian heavy, none offering'; South American, heavy, 3 %11-llid. Lambs.—Canterbury, light, fi'/sd; medium, 6%d; North Island, 5%d; selected ■ brands, (i'/ 8 d; Australian, best brands, 5 0-1 Od. Received 10. 12.55 a.m. London, March 9, Yesterday's wool sales were very animated. There was keen Continental competition for fine merinos. Crossbreds were firm and unchanged.
