I SHOT IN A BAR. /By ..Gable—Press Association—-Copyright. Received 8, 1 a.m. Sydney, March 7. Edgar Alfred Hat ton, a bookmaker, wiflDL ai young woman, uitfter a drive in a taxi-cab, entered the bar of a hotel in the teity. The couple were having a drink, when Hatton is alleged to have drawn a revolver and fired at the woman, Wto.unding Jier in the left breast. Then Haiton fired twice at 'himself, the bullets entering his head. Hatton is in a serious condition. The woman gave her name s&s Violet Coghlaii.
