SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Pre=s Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following weather summary and forecast was issued by the Dominion Metorologist at 5 p.m.: Summary: Northerly and westerly winds have prevailed and increased generally. Gales are reported this afternoon at Cape Campbell and Nugget Point. High temperatures have been recorded to-day, with hazy and fair to cloudy weather generally, but rain has fallen in the south. Forecast: Present indications are for strong northerly winds generally with a falling barometer. A change is probable shortly, for a disturbance is apparently developing to the northwestward of the Dominion. In the meantime increasing humidity and cloudiness may be expected.
