THE TRADE COMMISSION.
CHRISTCHURCH SESSIONS CONCLUDED. By telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. The Dominion's Royal Commission concluded its sittings at Christchurch today. They heard the evidence of J. D. Hall and J. C. Grigg on farming matters and received a memorandum from Professor Hight, of Canterbury College, on the subject of the necessity for greater uniformity in preparing the statistics of the British Empire and advocating the establishment of an Imperial Board of Economic Survey. Some members of the Commission visited local boot and clothing factories, whilst others visited Lincoln College and several were the guests of the Christchurch Meat Company at lunch at the Islington 4 works. The Commission left for Wei- ,'i lington by to-night!s steamer. '
