FALL FROM A TRAIN. i By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Mondiiy. The body 0 f a m. in named Jlenry Biggs, married, and 4li years ot age, was found beside the railway track at New Lynn yesterday. The body was clear of the rails, and had not been touched by trains. Biggs had probably /alien oil the 11 o'clock train im Saturday night, and had been dead some hours when picked up. BURNED TO DEATH. Dunedin, Monday. The Baldutha police report that Ceorge Kirk, aged 02, was burnt to death at Taenia, .some time between Thursday night and Sunday afternoon. He lived alone.
A CITTLT) DROWNED. Dunedin. Last Night. The police at North East Valley received intimation this morning of a drowning fatality in a small creek in the district. Phyllis Margaret Olive Boucher, aged one year and nine months. a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Boucher, was playing by herself in a cart at the rear of the, house, and being missed after a while, her mother and aunt instituted a search, finding the body of the child in the creek, a "little distance from the house.
