HIGH SCHOOL v. URKXUI. High School journeyed out by brake to Tikorangi yesterday afternoon to fulfil their cup fixture with Urenui. A pleasant afternoon's outing was the result, the hospitality of the Tikorangi people considerably tempering the defeat, for the High School boys suffered defeat by 82 runs. Batting first, School compiled the 'creditable total of 98 runs. Mr. Ryder 52 and Pott 28 (not out) getting n.i>st of them. Urenui, however, easily eclipsed this, scoring 180. W. Fuller 70 (retired), C. Foreman 37 (retired), Lye 30 being.the principal contributors. A feature of the game was the wicketkeeping, only one extra being scored, and that a leg-bye by High School.
