Henry Hugh Clarke, horse trainer, and George Peeps, a jockey, have been committed for trial for doing grievous bodily harm to Herbert MeDcrmott. MeDermott testified that in an altercation in a railway carriage Peeps gripped his ear with his teeth and ripped it down. He heard Peeps remark. "I have bit his car off, and spat it out of the window."
